quick note
I wrote Mike Resnick. Okay, yeah, you don't know who he is. Web it; the most prolific SF writer to date, and quite inventive; he's got a capacity for constructing a consciousness and following through on it. The deep thoughts are hidden but there. And he replied! which is the bright note thus far in the year. Can't be in the hospital when you're living month-to-month. Interesting times, that. I am working on a thirty-day posting thing, have to have at least half written before I start. The pain from my back (the cartilage complications of Ehlers-Danlos) is sometimes overwhelming; I really don't feel the pain in my hips and shoulders much any more. Anyway, it does knock me down. I've got four day/entries written thus far. Truth is the current one and as expected the trickiest (because I'm trying to keep each entry to about 600 words or less).
